the machine i have, on the normal setting, does not fill with water on the rinse portion of the cycle. service has been efficient and boards have been changed. but the problem exists rendering the normal setting useless.
tech support has not identified any error codes. therefore i believe this machine has a design flaw. i was told "just don't use that setting". however that setting is appropriate for most loads of wash. and i paid for a machine with 6 wash settings not 5.
this is an excellent machine i am pleased in every way accept for not being able to use the preferred setting. if i could use normal the rating would be 5 star!
at this point i would not recommend a samsung washer to anyone!

i have had the washer and dryer for less than five months and i already have to have a service call. vibration reduction technology appears to be absent on my washer. the rinse and spin cycle keeps repeating so i have to turn off the washer than select "spin only" or the washer will run for hours. . my water bill has gone up $15 in one month because of this. and, now my pause button doesn't work on any cycle so i can't even stop the cycle to reposition the clothes to see if it will spin properly. a big piece of junk for an expensive price. and why doesn't the dryer have an internal light when you open the door?

we had our washer delivered to us in july. since then the clothes are increasingly not coming out clean and there is a dank smell from inside the washer. self cleaning the washing machine and using the extra rinse and varying water levels does not appear to address the situation.

seems to be a very good machine. i'm sure it will not last like the 30 year old washer it replaced. i like that it determines the amount of water to use and that it doesn't have an agitator taking up room inside.
the installers left much to be desired. they did not use the drain hose guide, nor did they suggest removing the drain pan underneath so the washer could have more room behind the machine. the hoses are coiled up behind the machine, which i don't think is correct, and they simply zip-tied the drain hose to the water hose. they also messed up one of the doors of the closet the machine is installed in and now the doors will not close. they seemed more interested in getting done instead of spending time to make sure my washer was installed properly.

i bought this washing on 8/27/21 and i must say i love it; it is easy to use and love that it is quiet and love the sound it makes when finished. i love all the features. so far - i don't any issues since i have only had for 5 days so far. my only issue right now was trying to register the product - but i just called them and they register the product for me. no pictures or videos at this time - i am in love with this washing machine. my whirlpool lasted me 23 years and i hope this samsung can and will last me about this same time. being a single retired army vet - i cannot be buying washing machine every 6 years. so i am praying that it will last at least 20 years!!!. thanks for allowing me to post my review.

the washer does a good job however it tends to take a long time in cycles at times. also, the bearings went out after 5 months and had to have it replaced. it became very loud during spins cycles. there also needs to be a stting to allow you to turn off the annoying music it plays at the end of the cycle. this model doesnt seem to have an off switch.

I've had this washer for two months now, and it's meeting every expectation I had. The load capacity is huge, I can do one basket at a time, instead of half a basket as my old Kenmore. Granted it doesn't have the features my old Kenmore had, it does the job well beyond expectation for a machine in this price range. One of my favorite features is it is super quiet, like silent, I can wash clothes and watch a game all with the tv at a safe decibel level. If you're looking for a low-cost, low-maintenance, great washer, this is it. Side-note: if you are replacing a 2012 or older model and you don't keep up with the waste drain in your wall, snake it out and clean it out, this machine is high efficiency and the spray from the drain hose is strong, so if the drainpipe is not clean it will spill quick, but this has nothing to do with the machine only house maintenance.

it was very difficult to find a washer that allowed water level selection. this one does. however, it is not at all good at handling blankets or towels, even when settings are adjusted as recommended in the manual. the machine gets unbalanced easily and uses extra water plus extends the cycle. sort of defeats the purpose of having such great capacity! i also didnt think that any machine would come without a way to turn off the end of wash chime but this one does not allow you to turn it off...and it is a full song, not just a brief chime. makes running the washer at night almost impossible since thr likelihood that it will wake someone up is high. there is also no volume control.
but for the price and the ability to choose water level, i will keep it as 4 stars.

we replaced a 20 year old ge washer with a new samsung wa45t3200aw. it works great! but it is the loudest washing machine i have ever heard. it is in a closed off room next to our kitchen and we can hardly hear the tv. its hard to believe with the technology today that a new washer can be so loud. it starts when the drum starts filling up with water. i would give 5 stars if it were not so ridiculously loud.

samsung's smart washer automatic temperature control (atc) doesn't know the definition of hot water. there's no way to override atc, either.
"..in those regulation cycles, hot temperature is similar to acceptable adult bath-water temperature." -user manual
no adult would take a bath in that water. if i want warm water, i would select warm water.
the only way to get enough hot water into the tub is to turn off the cold water supply.

on dec. 19, 2020, the machine arrived. i did the install myself, per the manual that came with the washer.i then did the next step and leveled the machine front to back and side to side, using my 1ft. level. when i got the machine leveled, the tub was not anywhere near centered as shown in the book. i contacted customer support and they just kept referring me back to the book.

i like that this is so much quieter than my last washer, but it just doesn't spin the clothes dry enough. there is no way to add an extra spin cycle either. now i have to dry my clothes twice as long in the dryer. i'm seriously considering returning it if it's possible. the soap dispenser is in an inconvenient spot too. not a big deal really, but when using a heavy jug to pour it in, it's a bit difficult. i, personally, don't like using the little cups that the detergent comes with, it's so messy.

worked great for the 3 weeks. then on the fourth week, the washer broke with just a single queen sized comforter. customer service reps have been awful. on day 5 now and their system still hasn't assigned a servicer. what a waste of money!
