Bought this and it never stayed cold enough even on the coolest setting. We've exchanged it for and 18 cu. feet and so far it's doing okay. They both make loud knocking noises that can be startling. Very beautiful design just needs the kinks worked out, obviously.

I bought this 1 year and 3 months and only three on out of warrantee and the door beeps as if it's opened. Sent Best Buy repair and they said it was electrical and could not access to repair. Samsung repair was out three weeks with $100 to evaluate. Will just need to buy a new one. Piece of junk! I have two kitchen of Samsung appliances. Will not do that again because they are making them to fail before warrantee. I asked for compensation for a new and no option there.

This is a little larger than my prior top mounted freezer/refrigerator which is what I wanted.
The freezer and refrigerator BOTH have their own temperature controls. They also BOTH have their own light. The ice cube maker works well too. I bought this directly from Samsung.com as I also bought the S21 Ultra 5g also directly from Samsung.com
This refrigerator/freezer was out of stock at the two main big box hardware/lumber stores and also the national electronics, but it was in stock at Samsung.com AND it was also on sale, which made it lower in price than anywhere else I saw on the internet or in person at the stores.

the refrigerator is fine except i ordered one with the hinges on the left. i received one with hinges on the right. the samsung delivery people did not fix it, the door could be switched. called customer service at samsung and they said sorry out of luck. i also ordered and paid for removal of the old refrigerator; again, delivery people refused to complete the service. very poor customer service!!!!!

ugly: removed the sticker from the freezer door, which left adhesive residue on the surface. not wanting to ruin the finish, i searched the internet for a solution. on a retailer's site, a samsung rep gave the following instructions: bar keepers friend and a soft cloth wiping along the grain of the surface.
i followed the official instructions to a t. not only did adhesive residue remain, but it marred the stainless steel finish. i. am. livid. a $1,000 refrigerator and samsung couldn't have spent a few extra cents for a low-adhesive sticker?
bad: ice cube output slow. fitting gallon size milk containers/tall items on shelves takes creativity.
good: freezer and fridge hold the correct temp. compartments are spacious.

We have had this fridge for over 4 months now and so far it's been great. Space is big enough keep all of our groceries, might not be enough for a big family but we have plenty for room in both the freezer and fridge portion. Comes with ice maker as well but we decided not to install right now. Freezer works just as it should and it keeps everything fresh, love the light in both Sections.Love the tray portion of the fridge, good for cheeses and meats. Fridge is very quiet, read some reviews about it being too loud but no complaints at all! The color and look is very nice and high end looking. Easy controls. Worth the purchase and very good price.

This is a terrible refrigerator. The refrigerator stopped cooling after only having this for a month. After about 7 house calls for repair, the issue was never resolved. I finally received a refund, but this refrigerator is awful. Do not waste your time with this one.

Having use this for a few months, I can honestly say it is the best refrigerator we ever own. Freezer & fridge has their own temperature control, crisper keep the fruit & veggie always fresh. upper sliding section stuff w daily breakfast items. It's roomy & freezer can be converted for more .love the ice maker feature. Stainless exterior are easy to clean. Energy saver too. It is our first Samsung appliance. Will be looking for other Samsung appliance in the future.

i absolutely hate this refrigerator. unfortunately, it was a "covid" purchase, as my old fridge was dying during a lockdown and i had to buy something quickly. the only good thing i can say is that it keeps food cold. the led lighting is dreadful - it only illuminates the front of the freezer and fridge and it is like looking into a cave. the lack of split adjustable shelves means no flexibility whatsover in terms of how you can store food. recessed handles means that people grab the sides of the doors, or use the front of the doors for pressure to open them, and the fingerprints are completely visible. i never would have purchased this fridge if i could have gone into a showroom and seen it in person. terrible structure and poor lighting. if i could return it, i would.

It's been almost two years now and I don't know what to do. Even at the lowest setting, the freezer keeps the ice cream as hard as a rock! I have to bring down the ice cream to the refrigerator section for 20 t0 30 minutes before I can enjoy an ice cream.

Bought this model because it was one of the only ones that would fit into the existing space in an older home and still have enough volume for a family of 4. Wasn't really first choice, it was all we could do.
Fridge and freezer work well. No complaints there. A bit loud at times, but not really that bad.
Had a bag of chicken defrosting in fridge on bottom shelf and the bag sprung a leak. "Chicken juice" dripped all over the place. Raw chicken juice got under the crisper drawers and all down the side of the fridge. It also flowed between the glass part of the shelf and the plastic frame that holds the glass. Discovered then that there is no way to remove the glass from the plastic frame. So now I have a thin film of raw chicken sandwiched between the shelf glass and shelf frame. Best I could do is take the whole shelf into the shower and force water into that space to displace the contaminant.
Can't say I'd buy this again knowing what I know now. I know it might sound unrealistic, but this really has soured my Samsung experience...

will not hold a constant temp. samsung tech and sherman's tech said it's fine. express cool takes it to 30 degrees and freezes everything, then goes to 43 degrees and 77% humidity.

This refrigerator is 11 months old. We have had constant temperature problems and now the open door alarm will not stop. After doing all the troubleshooting is still going off. How poor must manufacturing processes and quality control be for a major appliance to completely fail after less than one year? We are a family of two. Completely unacceptable and Samsung service is the absolute worst.

We needed a 33" fridge so our options were very limited. Also, the space in front is a little tight, so we were looking for something shallow. Counter depth would be ideal, but that limited us to basically 1 option and the interior space wasn't going to cut it. We ended up getting this fridge and are happy with it. Even though it's 3-4" deeper than the counter depth we looked at, it's an inch or so shallower than most bottom freezer options and with no handles, that helped even more. The extra 4 cubic feet inside is exactly what we needed. We weren't initially looking at top freezers but our size issues led us to that aisle, but we liked the clean, stylish look (for a top freezer) and loved saving $400 over the other models we were looking at.
I do have to echo the other review about changing the door swing. I did it myself and was surprised at how complicated it was, including laying the fridge down on it's back for most of the process. I think it took me about an hour, but the instructions were very good and totally doable if you're a little handy. Just know what you're getting into (or plan to have an installer prepared to do it for you). We've only had it for a couple weeks, so not a lot to say about performance, but haven't had any issues yet. I surely hope not, considering the size saga I relayed above.

Comes with ice maker but was missing parts to connect to water line. Have to wait for part and then make another appointment to have it installed. Another day of waiting for installer to show up.
Doesn't get that cold. Cold enough but has me a little worried as at the highest setting it is barely cold enough.
Expensive for what it is - a basic top freezer refrigerator. My fault for paying the price.
