Damaged Shipments
Inspect your appliance at delivery
Please inspect your product thoroughly as soon as possible upon delivery. Large appliances may be delicate, and even if your box and packaging may appear intact, your product could still be damaged. If this is the case, refuse the package and note the damage on the delivery invoice. Or, let us know within 24 hours (either by email or phone call) and we will gladly take it back and replace the item.
Defective Merchandise
Plug in your appliance ASAP to make sure it operates properly
Please install your appliance as soon as you can to make sure it operates properly. If you receive an item that is defective, please call us as soon as possible and we will work with you.
As per manufacturer warranties and policies, if a residential appliance is installed in a commercial location, the warranty is void. Once the unit is brought out of the continental United States, the manufacturer warranty is also void.
We are not responsible for any installation or shipping charges when either we or the manufacturer authorizes a replacement on a unit.
Please contact the manufacturer directly if the item is defective after the first use. Missing parts are covered within the first 30 days upon delivery.
Product Does Not Meet Your Needs

If you receive an item that does not meet expectations, please call our customer service department within 24 hours of receipt. Any product that has been installed or has attempted to be installed cannot be returned. Returned products must be in brand-new condition with all packaging, product literature and blank warranty cards enclosed in the exact condition in which received.
In event of a return or refusal, shipping and handling charges to and from our warehouse are not refundable. Free shipping, rebates and all promotions are voided upon return/refusal of merchandise. All returns must be shipped back to our warehouse prepaid, using the original method of shipment. If your item was shipped by a freight carrier, you must return it with a freight carrier to ensure its safe return. For a list of approved carriers, please contact customer service. All returns/refusals are subject to a 30% restocking fee. We do not accept any returns on air conditioners.

this product does not connect to my brand new samsung range. the website says it has wifi connectivity which it does not . i am frustrated that my brand new $2200 range with wifi technology and $1100 hood cannot connect.
it also not connect to the smartthings app (this is bizzare) why would you make your own product that does not connect to your own app.
very much disappointed.

I provide a review with this same subject line 3 days ago. I received prompt follow-up from the Samsung Customer Service. The feedback, however, is the root of the issue. 1) The Customer Service contact informed me that the two (hood and range) should connect. Their own organization does not even understand that they do not nor which ones properly connect and 2) I was asked to connect with SmartThings Customer Service to correct the issue. I already did that prior to my first review. They are the ones that let me know the items did not connect.
Again, totally disappointed in a full kitchen suite, refrigerator, dishwasher, range and hood, where 3 of the items all connect via SmartThings app and one, even with Bluetooth, cannot. I stick by my original feedback. Poor execution of technology by Samsung.

the product does not connect to my brand new samsung range. this was not clear at the time of purchase nor during the kitchen remodel. i do not understand how a $2400 range with wifi technology and $900 hood cannot connect.
maybe i could get past this fact. however, the fact that it cannot connect to the smartthings app is also stupid (couldn't think of a better adjective). why would samsung make any product that does not connect to their app.
while i love the samsung tv's (i have 4), and i have a samsung refridgerator, microwave and dishwasher, i would not recommend the range and hood combinations as they do not deliver a modern, wireless, experience.
so disappointed in samsung.

this hood does not have wifi connectivity. found out after it was installed ... and i stayed for hour and a half with support as they also had no idea.
it is advertised here and on all reseller sites that it has wifi connectivity and you can control it from an app, but that is wrong and it does not have it.
it has only bluetooth and there is no gas range that supports it.

happy with the fan, reasonably quiet, powerful, stylish and easy to clean filters (just throw them in the dishwasher). however, does not sync with my top-of-the-line samsung range/oven with wi-fi. samsung, please release a firmware update that will enable this feature!

the description of this product is very misleading. i was sold a samsung range with this hood and assured it was the most advanced range available (nx60t8751ss. only to find out after installation that it is not compatible with this hood. a samsung chat rep even confirmed their most advanced range is not compatible with this hood because it lacks bluetooth. what a joke. the website also says to check the manual for compatibility. no such list exists in the manual.

I bought this hood to replace the old hood that originally came with my house, which was very weak and loud and wouldn't suck up any smoke whenever I used my stove or oven. This new hood is so much better and it looks wonderful, almost like a new kitchen. I've been cooking a lot more since installing this hood.

The hood looks really nice and does a good job venting, even in recirculating mode. Only 4 stars though because it isn't compatible with my brand new Samsung NE58K9560WS induction range. It doesn't really have WiFi, it is "wifi enabled" through your Bluetooth and wifi enabled cooktop. Don't count on this feature.
