Bought dw80r9950ug/aa dishwasher and had it delivered December of 2021. We immediately had issues with the it and had submitted a repair request. We have also had the repairman at our home 3 times so far for repairs on the dishwasher and another repair is scheduled. Poor quality. You are fair warned!!!

It finally came in January, it was a little beat up on the side (assuming that's from the delivery) which is a little disappointing but looks fantastic despite that. installed a few days ago and already tested it pretty hard. love the booster mode, there was a mess after air fry and this dishwasher worked at a+, i used the low left part booster mode and the metal rack came out very clean. the capacity is more than required for an average family. wifi feature tell you exactly what it is doing and when it finish. looks and works great!

1. difficult to install. needs either 1 inch more clearance on the left side or 2-3 inches in the back to account for the water inlet hose. this was the main reason for my low score. it was very difficult and i've done this before.

I bought this dishwasher about 2 months and do indeed love it. I love that the door opens automatically 10 minutes before the end of the cycle to let the moisture and steam out. It does connect to the house wifi and lets you know (via cellphone) as it goes through it's cycles. However, I wish they would update the firmware so that you could stop and start the cycles via smartphone.

Absolutely love the look of this dishwasher but I keep getting LC errors. It's only been in the house for 7 months and I have a service call in for it. When it works it's whisper quite. The other issue I have is with the drying process, I often have to pull the dishes out and hand dry them. And the last issue I have is being able to connect this to wifi. For the reasons above I cannot recommend this product.

We have had this unit for about a year and it works great. We paid a little more because it was supposed to be one of the lowest noise decibels available and our kitchen is next to the family room. It is so quiet, that you really have to listen to see if it is running. Even a year later---so quiet. It doesn't really heat the dishes dry, just opens the door for air drying which works ok for glass items...not so great on plastic

I bought this about 5 months ago and it has been a huge disappointment. The top rack was missing hardware when it came out if the box, resulting in having to have a technician come out twice. The rack still does not sit properly and falls frequently. Additionally, my dishes do not come out dry. This is not what I expected from a dishwasher at this price point.

when it's not broken, it works well and is nearly silent. however, when it's broken, the samsung experience is terrible. it's even worse trying to use their service company. first issue we had was the water reflector stopped working. once that was fixed, the second time we used it, it flooded our kitchen. we're going on over two weeks of not being able to use our purchase. hopefully it's fixed for good whenever they come back out.

Pros -
1. We didn't expect a dishwasher to be so quiet. The only thing we hear is when it drains water through the air vent.
2. Cleans well. Only if the stains were really baked in did something require a little cleaning by hand after the dishwasher took most of it out.
3. Wifi connectivity is nice. We get the option to choose custom cycles and get notified when a cycle ended
4. No visible heating rod at the bottom
5. The third rack is really useful for lining a lot of silverware and they all come out clean
Cons -
1. Its a bit expensive
2 It does require rinse aid, else the dishes wont dry. You fill enough rinseaid and then 15-20 cycles later it will notify you in the smartthings app that the rinseaid is about to run out.

This dishwasher is, by far, the quietest one I have ever owned. Using the door open feature helps dry the plastics quicker. During the last 10 minutes of drying, the door opens a couple inches to allow the steam out. We also really like the 3rd shelf on top for the silverware. It leaves the bottom rack open for more plates and bowls.
So far, the linear wash system is working great. I wasn't sure about it getting a dishwasher with a new style of washing system, but so far so good.
I wish it had a food grinder like my much older dishwasher had. If my son loads the dishes with whole pieces of food, then I have to pull the screen out to clean. He's doing better at rinsing off the large food bits.

Very quiet you cannot tell it is running

I have only had from 3 weeks, but so far I like it better than whirlpool. The Samsung was rated the lowest decibels, so I figured it would be a little quieter, however it is so quiet you can barely tell it's is running. The Samsung DW80R9950US dishwasher is designed to fit right in with the rest of my kitchen; it has a black stainless steel exterior and stainless steel from inside. It's also fitted with top controls and a pocket handle so that it will seamlessly blend with any other cabinets around it. What's more, it's also fingerprint resistant, which makes it great for a home where inquisitive children often wander around.

I purchased this in July with the fact of the salesperson highly recommending it. When I got it home it was ok but it's smaller than all my other dishwashers. It did not clean the dishes so I had a rep come out and he had to replace a part in it already. It still does not clean the dishes well. I have to clean them before I put them in.

The linear wash arm cleans so much better than the traditional rotating arm. We always use the auto cycle which determines the wash length based upon how soiled the dishes are and everything always ends up perfectly clean. We only rinse large food particles off of dishes before putting them in the dishwasher and never see any left over food residue. The zone booster works well for items with baked on food residue. Overall the dishwasher runs very quiet which is important to us because our kitchen is open to our family room. The two most pleasant surprises about this dishwasher are 1) the fingerprint proof black stainless steel which always looks clean and 2) the air dry feature which drys the dishes effectively without the intense heat from a heating element. This allows us to put more heat sensitive items in the dishwasher and on any shelf.
