This dishwasher is nice and quiet. The dishes are cleaned very well. My primary complaint is the low capacity. My standard sized dinner dishes do not fit standing up straight on the lower rack. The orientation of the supports in the racks are just not well laid out for a full load of dishes for an average family dinner.

i purchased this product thru costco and missed their 90 return policy because we were doing a kitchen remodel and the appliances were not installed until 2 months ago. this dishwasher is horrible!! i have not had one load come out completely clean. it doesn't matter if they go in completely dirty or rinsed off, dishes spread far apart or close together, they come out with food particles stuck to the dishes every time. this has been a colossal waste of money! don't buy one!

This is a nice looking dishwasher and it cleans well, but the rubber flap that is attached to the bottom and aids in reducing the sound level ( it IS a very quiet machine!) and helps (I was told by Samsung) to balance the door when it opens at the end of the wash cycle, keeps falling off. That part was manufactured using only double- sided tape, so that right there seems to be the problem. Without the rubber piece the machine is a bit louder and the door is only opening a crack when it's done cleaning. I've had to call for repair service twice so far and I've had this dishwasher only 4 months, so not happy about that. When everything stays together and works as it should it's a very nice, attractive, quiet machine.

We have had the dishwasher for a month when the leak check alarm stopped a wash cycle. To investigate I removed the dishwasher and discovered the wash tub is leaking at a seam from previously undiscovered damage to the dishwasher. From day one the lower basket was hard to slide in all the way. Now I know why. The tub was damaged in the back corner. I have reported the problem and waiting to see if Samsung resolves the problem. Obviously how the problem is resolved will form my opinion of our experience.

I almost love this dishwasher. It's pretty quiet, cleans our dishes well, and looks sleek. A few months into owning this, the feature where the door opens during the drying cycle stopped working. I can occasionally go into the settings and get it to operate normally, but it mostly doesn't work. Upon researching the problem, it seems that this is a common occurrence with this dishwasher. I will be submitting a warranty claim, and hopefully I can get this dishwasher repaired. Apart from this issue, I would recommend this dishwasher!

bought this dishwasher. didn't noticed the top of the dishwasher is actually bended in until now. called samsung and they refused to do anything.
aside the fact that it doesn't clean pots well. everytime i have to wash them by hand 2nd time after the cycle comletes.
also bought a fridge from samsung.com. there were 2 dents and the delivery guy covered them up using stickers. again, didn't notice until they were long gone and i peeled the stickers.
i will never buy samsung again. i just bought a full set of samsung appliance and 3 of them are having troubles. poor warranty and services. and make sure you check every corners during delivery.

samsung unit is quieter than the bosch we replaced. we have been running it on auto and find it does a great job cleaning the dishes. starts at over 2 hours on the timer but quickly drops the required time as it assesses how dirty the dishes are.
a couple of things i would like to see different : (1) the drain hose should be a bit longer; (2) the water inlet is at an awkward angle with the right-angle adapter; (3) the lids on the silverware baskets should be hinged on the inside so they could be folded fully down.
these are minor issues; we are very happy with the unit.

I made the switch to the samsung dishwasher and it exceeds all expectations I had when first ordered. The design and aesthetic match any home, it combines elegance in a very minimalist style.
The first thing I've noticed in comparison to my old washer is the space. It almost appears bigger, yet the dedicated slots of bowls, dishes and utensils really make organizing and cleaning a breeze.
The is a specific mode I use which is the "Storm wash" which leaves all my dishes like new. Overall I am very satisfied to have made the chance and encourage anyone who is looking for style and performance to really consider the samsung dish washer.

I love our new Samsung Dishwasher. At first, I was hesitant on the black stainless steel color, but I actually LOVE the color! When upgrading my other kitchen appliances, I'll definitely go with the same color. Operation wise, this dishwasher exceeds my old dishwasher on all points: It's ultra quiet, the first time running the dishwasher, I actually couldn't believe it was working. It does a great job cleaning the dishes: I put my dirty dishes without rinsing in the dishwasher, and while my previous dishwasher would always leave some plates or pots with dirty spots, this one hasn't disappointed me yet as all dishes always come out sparkling clean. I love the auto-release feature which opens the door during the drying process. My dishes are always 100% dry, something that wasn't the case with my old one. I do always use a rinsing aid though, so this might help the drying process. Finally, I love the design of the dishwasher: I really like the third rack for utensils! Shortly, this dishwasher exceeds all my expectations, and I definitely recommend it!

The Samsung dishwasher is extremely capable and has many good points. One of the most important ones is that the dishwasher is extraordinarily quiet. I completely forget it's even running during the entire wash cycle. It also can wash off all types of left over food with ease. There's no need to waste time pre-scrubbing the food from your dishes with this dishwasher. Even things like dried cheese come right off, especially with the super powerful storm wash. All you have to do is dump the big pieces into the trash and you're good to go! There's lots of space in the dishwasher as well, especially for the utensils. Overall the Samsung dishwasher has been a pleasure to have and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Who know I could fall in love with an appliance? This machine far exceeded my best concept of what it could do for me. The simple fact I cannot hear it operate is worth the investment. So many cool features like the finger print proof finish, the stormwash cycle that really really cleans, and my favorite, the third rack for small flat items. Plus, it is so easy to see the dishwasher controls on the top of the door. I recently purchased a new Samsung washer and dryer, so this purchase just seemed like a no-brainer. And, wow, I am very happy I made the decision to buy this machine. Looks like we are now a Samsung household! If you have the opportunity to audition a new Samsung dishwasher, do yourself a favor and "just do it".

This is an excellent dishwasher. I love the many different cycles you can choose from, combine that with the adjustable racks and it gives you so many options to choose it is incredible. It is so quiet, it is amazing! The fingerprint resistant finish is a nice added touch and works well. the dishes come out very clean and you never even knew it was running. I highly recommend it.

Samsung has once again struck gold! I originally purchased the Samsung StormWash Dishwasher to pair with my Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator. I have had such a wonderful experience with Samsung appliances and this Dishwasher was no exception. Upon first glance, this Dishwasher offers a sleek modern look that has really upgraded my kitchen. The exterior black stainless steel is gorgeous, not 100% fingerprint resistant in my opinion but very easy to clean. I love that even the interior is stainless steel as well, proving once again Samsung does not skimp on the quality or attention to detail of their appliances. Upon running my first load I was blown away by how quiet this dishwasher is. I typically run my dishwasher late at night after dinner and my old model was so loud it disturbed me from relaxing in the evenings, but this dishwasher is so quiet I had to open it a few times to check if it was even still running. Despite its low noise level, it is in fact very powerful, and was able to remove tough cooked on food without pre rinsing, which makes my job a lot easier! My favorite feature has to be the auto release door, which automatically cracks the door open when the cycle is finished to release steam and promote drying, no more rusty pots and pans!! This feature is a lifesaver as my old energy-efficient dishwasher left my dishes dripping wet at the end of the cycle, I would often fall asleep before remembering to crack the door open. I also love how accommodating this dishwasher is, both in capacity and rack design. There is a third rack at the top that's perfect for utensils and small odds and ends, and the middle rack is adjustable to help accommodate large items, so I can run my vases and beverage pitchers through the machine and really give them a deep clean. When you find something this great you just want to tell the world, and I could go on and on about how wonderful this dishwasher is but if you are in the market I highly suggest you give the Samsung StormWash Dishwasher a chance to show you first hand!

This Samsung stainless steel dishwasher is incredible. It is incredibly quiet when in use. The controls are very simple to use and right on the top of the door and hidden out of sight when the door is closed. The tub inside is also stainless that will last along time. The outside of the door is very nicely finished in very high end looking smudge proof stainless steel. The racks inside are very spacious. The is a must have dishwasher. Don't hesitate to get this, Samsung makes incredible appliances.

The dishwasher cleans very well, and is so silent you can barely even tell it is running.
We are extremely happy with our brand new Samsung dishwasher.
The Storm Wash feature is far superior to anything we have ever owned, and the autorelease door ensures our dishes dry spotless, and crystal clear.
The adjustable rack is amazing, and allows for a variety of items both large and small to be placed in the upper and lower racks.
This dishwasher is absolutely amazing, and we love it.

I couldn't be more thrilled with our new Samsung 42dBA Black Stainless Dishwasher. The exterior has a refined elegant finish. You would not be surprised to see it in an expensive home as it definitely has all off the bells and whistles the most demanding consumer would require. Prior to purchasing it I read all the product reviews and they all listed that it was a super quiet dishwasher. I have previously purchased an upgraded level of our old dishwasher to get a quieter dishwasher and it was quieter than the one it replaced. But they are not kidding when they say this is a quiet dishwasher. It is whisper quiet. You can hardly hear it running. I love all of the wash selections integrated in the top of the washer door. Having the buttons there adds to the smooth sleek look of the appliance with no buttons or dials on the face. The interior design is also extremely innovative and versatile. I love the adjustable sections of both the bottom and middle racks. The bottom rack allows you to put larger items in by pushing the dividers flat in the back left corner. The upper rack has 3 separate adjustable settings for the two exterior rows to accommodate different types of dishes and glassware. And off course there is a bonus 3rd rack at the top of the dishwasher to put silverware, utensils and other small items. The best thing so far with my my new dishwasher is that the dishes are so squeaky clean. No spots, no food residue even on those with dried stuck on food. I am not sure my old dishwasher was even working properly when I compare what my dishes looked like washed in it compared to my dishes now. I also love that it pops it self open at the end of the wash cycle allowing it to vent and speed up the air drying of the dishware.

I have to say I was a little skeptical that a dishwasher could be as quiet as the ratings and reviews stated this one would be. I was wrong, very wrong. Not only is it super quiet, but it is super efficient in thoroughly cleaning all of the dishes. Plastic, ceramic and silver all spotless. I like the innovative features in the racks that allow adjustment to accommodate different dishes and the top rack that holds utensils, silverware and other small items. I also am a huge fan of the self opening feature at the end of the cycle allowing the dishes to air dry and quickly remove the extra humidity in the dishwasher. I can start the cycle prior to leaving the house or go to bed and return to or get up to dry dishes that can immediately be put away. Not have to open and allow to dry several more hours or hand dry them. An innovation I never knew I needed. The only negative is the middle rack will not stay out it rolls back in every time. I am not sure if perhaps the installer didn't level it properly or this is a quirk of the product. If that could be resolved it would be perfect.

I love this dishwasher! Not only does it look high end and sleek, it doesn't leave water spots or handprints from my kids behind. It's nice and big and the drawer design is awesome, they slide in and out with ease. It's extremely easy to use, the dishes come out clean with no water spots left behind. During the drying process the door opens a considerable amount and with little kids that can sometimes be an issue! I have really enjoyed this dishwasher and would definitely recommend this to anyone!

This Samsung Dishwasher exceeds all expectations. Have had about a month of experience with it and it does an impressive job cleaning. Lots of configuration options inside to accommodation pots and pans as well as the usual dishes you would wash.
This replaced a very old dishwasher - had no idea that a dishwasher could be this whisper quiet.
Wish it had been purchased sooner. No regrets.
