Smells Awful

DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE The washer has a horrible smell that does not go away and LG technicians will just gaslight you that the smell will go away. Over the phone the told us that the smell would go away after 10 washes over 10 washes later and the smell persists. Weve had 2 technicians come out and the second one as annoyed that he had to come out even though he acknowledged there the washer had a smell. We have babies on the way and are very concerned if this off gassing onto our clothing is dangerous but LG does not care

Dryer sucks

Its a great unit in principle. The thing is dryer works intermittent. Straight up has LG out 5 times and the unit only works sometimes. Even if I check to make sure the dryer works I run a load with no way to dry the clothes. Has a clicking noise and wont run the drum. Basically a electric fault that goes away but LG says it my electricity. Very sad. 2K for a piece of metal.

I got this new LG WashTower 2 weeks ago and am pleased with its performance so far. I am learning the advantages and disavantages of each of the wash options. The cycles are a bit longer than my previous stacked washer/dryer. The spin cycles really get the loads dryer shortening the time needed to dry the items. When I first used the washer it was so quiet that I had to look at to to see if it was running

I ordered the set and the dryer had a huge dent on it and stopped working not even 12 hours later. Whats worse is I turned in my good dryer for a minimal credit now I dont have anything. And trying to get in touch with LG customer service is a joke

Failed Delivery Service

I ordered a washer/dryer unit from LG who sub-contracted the delivery installation to RXO. Without any prior notification on the date of delivery RXO informed me that they could not deliver the unit to my apartment above 3rd floor without elevator and that I need to coordinate alternate options with LG. After one week of frustrating daily inquiries LG RXO were not able to resolve the issue. The only option I was left with was hiring my own moving company to move the unit from the 3rd floor to the 4th floor so that RXO could complete the installation and then do the same in reverse for old units to be hauled away. It was extremely difficult to get accurate information from both companies and I will not be using either company going forward.

Bought this unit in May had it delivered in June and moved into my new home that was built in July and used the dryer 1time and the igniter went out. The dryer was also damaged when delivered. Waited 6 weeks for parts that never came in so finally received a replacement

The controller failed within 2yrs of purchasing the unit and LG abandoned its customers by discontinuing the part AGL77376916. I have no choice but to replace the entire tower. Cant believe theyre still selling this model. I will not buy LG again.

Very Satisfactory But Not Perfect

I was a little leery about this smart appliance and would have liked to have something similar but a little dumber. I didnt want to pay for that particular whistle. The capacity of both washer and dryer is huge--again more than our household needs. But it cleans well and adjusts the length of the cycle even as the unit is operating. I appreciate its low impact on the environment. My main complaint is that quite a few of the default settings cannot be changed ostensibly to reduce wear and tear on the items being washed/dried. Thats very frustrating. Customer support has been outstanding however.

I have done two loads so far. First one was a larger load barely wet when I took the clothes out. Several areas not wet at all. I am concerned this doesnt work well. Other load was very small seemed as though everything was wet as it hoyld be when i took it out.

I regret this purchase so much. I feel like this machine costs me so money to try and keep stink free. This is a terrible design keeps the drain water in the bottom. Once a week you have to run a washing machine cleaner through it and then a laundry sanitizer and then get on the floor to empty the drain. It still stinks.
