My LROFC0605V came as a 100 rebate when I purchased a 28.5 cu ft LG refrigerator. Although I have not received the rebate yet LG has confirmed that I complied with the terms of the free offer. My intention was to use my old refrigerator a Viking 21 cu ft counter-depth as a backup to the 28.5 cu ft LG. However the LROFC is so pretty and so competent as a second freezer that we have unplugged the Viking. The LROFC is quiet. It has many shelves. It keeps the contents frozen. We are delighted with the LROFC particularly as a free promotion with our 28.5 cu ft LG which we also love huge quiet French door-in-door 2-drawer freezer one ice maker.

This is a well-made freezer offering great storage in a compact footprint and good energy use. The 5 main fixed shelves have integral cooling coils helping with rapid and economical cooling and stable temperatures that can be set to run in the 20s F. The shelves wont fit a frozen turkey but fit a lot of food measuring 16 wide 12 deep and 5 1/4 high. A top self is 3 1/4 high. A bottom bin doesnt reach the low temps of the rest of the unit intended to catch water when the freezer is manually defrosted recommended monthly. There are also 4 door shelves 15 wide 2 deep and providing about 9 vertical space. The door is brushed stainless steel-look making for a very attractive unit.

We have a very small home and had a chest type freezer tucked away under the stairs. Being short under five feet my wife had a difficult time reaching frozen items on the bottom and sometimes food on the bottom went unseen and forgotten and ultimately thrown away. We recently signed up for Butcher Box so we have a lot of meats that need to be frozen. Since I have a disabled back I needed something that I could store upright. Weve had the chests before and if you are on the short side its difficult to get stuff that gets burried on the bottom. This freezer prevents that from happening. Everything is so easily accessible. The thing was so cheaply put together like it was done in a hurry with extra parts an old design the door gives it a very attractive look but everything behind it is garbage. Theres no way theres a smart inverter compressor running this thing as the sticker on the door claims. Its as noisy as any old cooler your grandfather had in his shop. Id like to know how these other reviewers supposedly I appreciate how it leans so far back full justement it hurts almost laying down on the ground I had to put a couple of two-by-fours underneath the back of it so itll level out. Yes Im aware theyre supposed to lean back slightly. Very upset with my purchase. I have an lg dishwasher that Im perfectly happy with. I feel they scraped these together in a pinch during the shipping issues. I definitely dont keep them on display at my local Home Depot anymore. Ive owned it for about 4 months I would say. I havent had the time to return it.
