The refrigerator is okay. One issue is with the ice makers. Both stop making ice regularly. I have to empty the tray turn off the ice maker press the reset button and repeat until it starts again. The door ice maker is working but the craft ice maker will not start again. Also the rubber stripping along the right door cracked just after the warranty ran out. Since the refrigerator is not even 2 years old we are not willing to pay to have these fixed.

For anyone who is CONSIDERING purchasing a LG refrigerator please DO NOT buy. I own one it stopped working schedule repair has been a nightmare for me. Here is what happened: the fridge broke called to schedule a repair the earliest available repair date was 7 days later fine I will wait. The technician no show on the day tried to call customer service which took me an hour each time I called but still no one can tell me what to do. Finally 4 days later they scheduled me for another 10 days later. I dont know if this time they will show up. Net net Family has been living without a fridge for 10 days now and will have to wait for another 10 days before the technician shows up. If the technician is still a no show I will likely have to wait for another 10 or 20 days. During this process I had to spend at least an hour with customer service every day and they kept transferring me to another team who is supposed to handle my issue. Rest assured this will be the last time I purchase LG product this experience is beyond frustration.

I have purchased the product and came damaged. Contacted several times to the customer service to return/replace the product. They said that they will replace it and took the refrigerator but never was able to deliver the new product. Multiple escalations happened. They took two months to return my money. This is not incentivized review. Worst customer service I have ever seen. This is after escalating to their Customer retaliations Presidents office. They say this product is discontinued yet they keep changing the price and is still listed online for purchase. Horrible.

Un ethical business practice

I have purchased this product on end of Feb 2024. While the product was brought down from the truck it was damaged and they took it back and said LG will contact me and re-order the new one. However LG never called me and I had to call them to place a replacement order for their fault. I was told that it will be delivered in a week. But the refrigerator went to out of stock status online. I was told that the product was back ordered and is on its way and asked me to check weekly. Within next week while the product was in out of stock status they raised the price to $1000 more. But they keep telling me that the product is on its way without ETA. On first week of May I got a email stating that the product is no longer available to purchase and asked me to buy other fridge of much higher price. They do have the alternate color available to ship to other zip codes. This is certainly an unethical business practice. They still have my money with them for over 2 months and no refund is issued yet. And cancelled the order without any alternate option. If the brand like LG is doing this unethical business practice of selling a product and not honoring the price knowingly it is really really BAD. I cant trust the brand anymore. I have escalated this to the President of NA. Hope they address this issue

Buy from another vendor 4/3/2024

Product delivered was damaged and the door could not close. I was told I would get an other refrigerator shipped. Waited two days for shipping information and called back. I was told it would be expedited. Three days later I received a call that the refrigerator was end of life and I could buy the more expensive version. When I asked to speak to a manager they would not transfer me. I was told I would have to wait for 24-48 hours for them to call me back. They issued a refund which took over two weeks. All in all LG had my money for three weeks. The absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with.
