After owning my beloved LG Tromm for 22 years without any issues I was sad to say good-bye. I was quite overwhelmed with the number of new washers/dryers available. After spending a good month doing research and looking at every brand and model out there I decided to just stay with the LG brand which is tried and true and has never let me down in 22 years. I love my new ThinQ dryer -- it has many great new features easy to use super quiet and energy efficient. It fit right into the space of my old set and since I was familiar with LG there was no learning curve. My old LG Tromm was a work horse and Im hoping I get the same out of this one. We bought the washer/dryer combo because if the fine reputation LG has in this field. Both of these machines live up to that reputation with one exception. There are no interior lights in either and they are missed especially in the dryer. One would think that since the lower costing dryers have a light go on when you open the door so would the more expensive version. However that is not case hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

We bought the matching washer and dryer about a month ago. This is our second LG front load washer had to leave old one when we moved but this is our first LG dryer. I am very pleased with it so far Took a little bit of playing with the settings to figure out which ones worked best but overall things dry nicely. Luckily the door can be flipped so it would open on the opposite side... only issue so far was that one of the screws got inserted at the factory so it cross thread and it broke off when we tried to remove. Otherwise I am VERY happy with the dryer so far

My washer has been giving problems like 2 to 3 hours on whatever cycle I choose unless I opted for quick wash which is 20 minutes supposedly but it does not stop when its on spin cycle its still gets to an hour plus cycle unless I manually stop the machine and still the clothes are still really wet to the touch. It took a couple of trips for the technician to figure out what was wrong which was the entire control panel needs to be replaced. Thank God its finally fix. That was a 3 long weeks to not have a washer. Alex the technician is really good and patient.

Just using this for the first time so not much to go on but just realized that it does not have a light inside It has wifi but no light? Even cheapo dryers have a light. I can barely see anything inside the dryer. It may be a great dryer overall and I will update this review after having some time with it but the lack of a light is very disappointing.
