After signing for and accepting your item, you are responsible for all damage claims.

I bought this over a month ago and it was the worst purchased. I have used it once and it took 5 hours to damp dry my clothes. Whirlpool has sent the same technician over 5 times and they have replaced all the major parts for my brand new dryer. The technician just came over again today with new parts and it worked for 1 hour and the dryer just stopped working again! Each time they send the repair guy over, I have had to take work off. 5 vacation days spent on staying home to get my brand new dryer repaired. Whirlpool warranty is worthless.

Worst dryer, it took 5 hours to dry 4 towels and they are still damp! I had a compact ventless dryer for 7 years and it only took an hour to dry the towels and this is a full size ventless dryer. I just received this a week ago so it's brand new. They sent a repair man and he is not familiar with ventless dryer. DO NOT BUY or you'll be stuck with a dryer that doesn't dry your clothes and paying high electrical bill.

We relocated our laundry room and running a vent to the outdoors would have been difficult and expensive. This heat pump dryer was the solution.

We purchased this full size ventless because our home cannot easily accomodate a vented heater. This dryer is the best of both worlds---large enough for family size loads and ventless (most ventless we looked at were like mini-dryers). There was a learning curve for me especially for drying sheets and larger items. The reason for the 4 rating is that after washing bedding a few times I learned that I need to switch from eco setting to high and switch from normal setting to towels or else they will be damp after the end of the cycle. You also do need to unbunch the bedding sometimes so they dry properly and I need to watch for that. So my advice is to get to know your dryer and if you're like me you'll be loving it in no time!

Great Ventless Dryer

I moved into a condo and wanted to have my laundry on first floor, but no way to vent to outside. After lots of research, I chose this new Whirlpool model because of its large capacity, efficiency, and multiple features. I had to wait 3 months for the product to be released for sale, but it was well worth the wait. Moisture sensing works great. No guessing on time. I leave it to my smart dryer. And no more troops to the basement, thanks to the efficient heat pump technology

Works great and uses less power than my old non-heat pump dry did... It's will be nice NOT having the 8 inch air vent hole cut into the side (old dryer required it.) of my house when it's twenty below this winter...No more bugs...No more rodents.

The Perfect Ventless Option

I live in a garden condo with no possibility to add in a dryer vent, but wanted a full size dryer. this was the only option I could find for a reasonable price, and i could not be happier with it! I recently dried a full load of towels and flannel sheets, and they came out perfectly dried in an hour and a half. It does take a little longer, but it is less damaging due to lower heat. I highly recommend this product for anyone who cannot utilize a traditional vented dryer! I got the matching washer, and couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Traditionally-vented dryers won't work in our older home, and most ventless dryers are too small. This full-sized beauty has surpassed my expectations. We got it as a supplement to a combo washer/condenser dryer (LG) that does an excellent job washing, but a mediocre job drying. In the LG combo unit, the clothes come out quite wrinkled, and often still damp. We had low expectations for ventless technology but still thought it would be worth it to have the dryer for larger items that just don't dry in the combo unit. I've been so pleasantly surprised to see that the performance of this Whirlpool dryer is more like traditional dryers. The clothes come out perfectly! As with any ventless, the drying time is longer than traditional dryers, but I was also pleasantly surprised to see that it was hours less than the combo washer/dryer. For example, most clothes in the combo unit take about 3 hrs to dry. Most loads in the Whirlpool dryer take about 90 mins. In a traditional dryer, it would be about 40. But the ability to add a dryer to a space without a functioning vent is well worth the extra few minutes. We are very pleased so far!
