I've had this product installed for close to a year. We typically use the large burner the most, and can not keep it clean. I have only used the recommended Weimans glass cook top cleaner. I immediately had to give up using my cast iron pans. We bought a new set of cookware and it still leaves a dark ring beneath, every time I cook. I realized I'd nearly stopped cooking all together because this is so hard to clean. For the past month or so we can no longer return the cook top to it's white color, having to live with what you see in the photo. Photo was taken after intense cleaning, with little luck. If GE has a solution for this, I'd love to hear it. Is this covered under warranty? Otherwise range functions very well, but should not be sold in white.

Why do appliance makers make the middle back burner as the large? Fortunately this model has a hot medium right front so I don't have to reach so far over.
Warming should does not go above 150F, so red "hot" light does not ever turn on. It should be set at lower temp such as 125 F.

I have had similar stovetops but, this one is the best. I like the selection of burners and the way the burners heat. It is aesthetically attractive. The knobs are secure and save.

Replaced a JennAir which was slightly larger. The smaller housing of the GE didn't extend as far under the glass as i would have liked so we had to find ways to support it. It required replacing the 30amp breaker with a 40amp one. Don't think we'll ever have all 5 burners going. Overall I think we will really like it.

Have had GE appliances around my whole life. Also had other brands. Hoping this cooktop stands the test of time like the old ones did. Bought a home and replaced a 30+ year old GE that still worked but was obviously outdated. So far it operates beautiful and has a nice surface and cleans up very easy. Prices for these things are insane but I guess that's what it is these days.

After my previous cooktop unexpectantly cracked, I looked in all the big box stores in my area and was unable to find one to replace it without waiting to order one for more than I could afford. To my surprise, I finally found exactly what I needed at a local small business for an affordable price and was able to install it for me the next day. I have so far had it approximately one month and love it. Our other appliances are also GE and have worked well for several years.

The product was the right color and size for what we needed to replace and a value. In retrospect, I should have purchased the more expensive on for use of the second top left burner as I didn't realize it was only a warmer on this one. The more expensive model allows it to synchronize use with the lower burner for larger cooking area.
Oh well, my fault for wanting a bargain.
But overall product is good, works well and looks beautiful.
