Please install your appliance as soon as you can to make sure it operates properly. If you receive an item that is defective, please call us as soon as possible and we will work with you.
As per manufacturer warranties and policies, if a residential appliance is installed in a commercial location, the warranty is void. Once the unit is brought out of the continental United States, the manufacturer warranty is also void.
We are not responsible for any installation or shipping charges when either we or the manufacturer authorizes a replacement on a unit.
Please contact the manufacturer directly if the item is defective after the first use. Missing parts are covered within the first 30 days upon delivery.

The freezer fan has a high pitched whine that is extremely annoying!! They put a new fan in. The new fan is just as noisy. I am sure I will have to go through a lot of hassle to get a frig that works properly.

We were looking to replace our standard fridge but i desperately wanted a new fridge with a freezer on the bottom. The problem? We are constricted by size. We couldn't go any wider than 30 inches and truthfully needed to be under that. There aren't a lot of options for bottom freezer on such a small fridge. But after a lot of research and patience, we went with the GE and i don't regret it! The ice maker is awesome. It has a little more space then our previous fridge and is WAY easier to organize. We've had it a few months now and i still smile when i walk into the kitchen. i definitely recommend.

I'm still getting used to full shells & and learning about the need for organizing bins. However, my fresh vegetables seem to stay fresh longer. It's noisy & sometimes rattles.
The freezer seems so much smaller than my comparable freezer on top refrigerator, same cubic ft. but doesn't seem to store as much food. Therefore, I can't buy extra with good sales.

So far the fridge is working as I expected. I like the bright interior which makes it easy to see everything. Love the pull out drawer freezer. We won't hook up the ice make until our hard water is treated. I just wish the refrigerator came in a wider option. It is a bit narrow.

So far it keeps the food in the refrigerator portion cold and the food in the freezer frozen. When it is running it can be loud and it even seems a little louder after we've had at a few months. It does the job, but if I sound less than enthused about the refrigerator it's because this refrigerator is smaller than the one it replaced and finding things in it is more difficult than in the other. Our last refrigerator unexpectedly quit and at the time there was not a lot of options readily available due to the Covid shut down etc. So we're lucky to have this one!

On my current GE refrigerator, similar to this one, the right hand bin has a little latch which will allow the drawer to be moved to the left for removal without unloading everything in the door. (The hinges are on the right). You take the left side drawer (facing the unit) out of the refrigerator and press the latch in the center, and the right side drawer moves enough to the left so it can clear the door. GE thoughtfully did this in case your unit is close to a wall or other obstruction, and the door cannot go all the way to the right.
Does this model have this feature? I see it mentioned nowhere in the manual.

Our Whirlpool broke after only 5 years. Our repairman said that GE is more durable, so we bought one. In terms of features and price, it is very similar to the Whirlpool we bought five years ago. However, it just isn't as good a build. Everything feels cheap and rickety. When you close the freezer door, it has trouble rolling in the shelves. The freezer shelves in particular feel flimsy...they don't move well, and feel like they are going to break any minute. The ice-maker works quickly, but the cubes come out all stuck together. The shelves are not nearly as configurable as the Whirlpool, and again, they just feel more rickety. The only thing I like better than the whirlpool; the door has tons of space, with deep, yet accessible shelving.
