I have no complaints; I had just wanted to get a microwave with a lot more options but cannot be due to it being a built-in unit only. I am sure this one will be fine for what it does. I just do not understand why it was more expensive than the ones with a whole lot more on them.

The install for a replacement was very simple with the trim kit. An expert is not required.I think this version is much easier to use. The letters are large and bold, and the display gives all the necessary info. No need to read a manual. We have used most of the functions like defrost, reheat, soft melt etc. All perform very well.

After less than a year of having the microwave with minimal use, it started beeping randomly, turning off on its own. keypad not functioning. now I cannot use the microwave anymore. this was the only option for replacement of my old frigidaire microwave that worked for 17 years. such a disappointment for a $600 product. costumer service is not helping, they want $320 to send someone to come and fix it.

New Upgraded Frigidaire Microwave

My new Frigiaire microwave is a HUGE upgrade to the previous model that was quite problematic from day-1. The previous Model, FGMO226NUF, was not great from initial installation when it failed to power-up immediately. One service visit later we were back in business, but not for long. The newly upgraded model seems to have alleviated the problem endemic to the older model, such as allowing people to stop the cooking process by opening the door. This model has a two-step opening process that stops kids (and ham-fisted adults) from causing short circuits in the model by being stupid. So far so great with the newer model.

We love the look and features of this microwave. It matches the stainless steel look of our LG oven and Sub-Zero refrigerator. It is quiet, has a large capacity and heats quickly. We are an adult household so we disabled the child lock easily. I forgot to defrost frozen fish for sashimi and used the auto defrost and amazingly it did a great job ! It defrosted it perfectly without cooking it! We like how there are 10 power level choices in cooking, our former microwave only had full or low power. We like the look of the frame, it looks sleek and does not have the linear vent holes which detract from the looks. It has a small, not visible, gap from the frame which allows ventilation. Plus the frame is made with stainless steel not plastic painted to look like stainless steel. Although it is a thin layer of metal over a plastic backed frame, we feel it will hold up much better than painted plastic. We cannot wait to try all of the additional features this microwave offers to make cooking easier! This new microwave and frame is worth the price.

Hello, We had a very nice experience with the Sales Lady who helped us with the purchase; however, we have had the microwave for just over a week and already the Door Release Button material is scratched badly and peeling and so very loose. The finish is already coming off. Wondering if there is any way for that Release Button to be replaced since it was already scratched and very loose when we received it. I do not believe that it should be this bad after only a few days of use. Kindly see attached photo
